Consists of comprehensive records of all court proceedings and papers filed, at law and in equity, in civil actions and in criminal cases. The entries also include appointments and oaths of officers of the court, and articles of incorporation and statements of companies' financial condition. Entries give the case or indictment number, charges (in criminal cases), parties to actions, nature of complaints or types of motions, pleas or stipulations, and abstracts of papers filed, verdicts or term orders of the court. References are made to sentence orders in some criminal cases.
